For choirs & choir directors

Welcome new voices — without paper chaos after rehearsal

Online sign-up for your choir: voice part, experience, rehearsal availability and contact details — captured in a structured way instead of scribbled on the edge of a score.

Sound familiar from rehearsal?

Sign-up by shout-out

"I'd love to join!" — and then? Name on a score margin, voice part guessed by ear, e-mail address misheard. Two weeks later the note is gone and so is the new alto.

Voice-part list kept in your head

How many tenors do we really have? Who can never make Tuesdays? Concert planning runs on memory and gut feeling instead of an up-to-date list.

Contact details scattered

Phone numbers across three phones, e-mails in two lists, privacy consents nowhere. When a rehearsal is cancelled, the notice never reaches everyone.

How joining your choir works with Questee

  1. 1

Create the sign-up form in minutes

Voice part (soprano/alto/tenor/bass), choir experience, music-reading skills, rehearsal availability, contact details, privacy consent. The AI drafts it — no technical skills needed.

  2. 2

Share a link or QR code

QR code on the concert programme and notice board, link on the website and in the parish mail. Interested singers sign up when it suits them — not just in the five minutes after rehearsal.

  3. 3

    Voice parts at a glance

All sign-ups in one sortable overview: filter by voice part, compare availability, export the contact list. You see at once where the choir needs reinforcement.

Made for volunteer choir leadership

Voice-part selection

Soprano, alto, tenor, bass — plus "not sure", to be settled at the audition.

Conditional logic

Experienced singers get questions about previous choirs — beginners are not scared off.

One question per screen, on the phone

Sign-up feels like a short conversation — done in two minutes, right after the taster rehearsal.

E-mail notification

The director hears about every new sign-up instantly — no note gets lost any more.

GDPR-compliant from Germany

Member data on German servers, consents documented — clean even for the club register.

For volunteers: free for good

The free plan covers most choirs: 3 forms, 100 responses per month — more newcomers than any choir dares hope for. Pro (12€/month) only if you want your own branding and unlimited forms.

Questions from choir practice

Is this really free for a volunteer choir?
Yes — the free plan includes 3 forms and 100 responses per month, permanently and without trial tricks. That easily covers a sign-up form plus, say, a concert helpers list. The only condition: a subtle "Made with Questee" note stays on the form.
Do we need privacy consent from members?
Membership administration itself is usually covered by club membership — but photos, WhatsApp groups or passing data to the federation need consent. Ask exactly those as yes/no items in the form; every answer is stored with a timestamp and thus provable. Questee hosts in Germany and provides the DPA.
Why not just a WhatsApp message or a paper notice?
Because no structure emerges: from twenty WhatsApp replies you must extract voice parts and availability by hand, and the paper notice yields no data at all. The form collects everything uniformly and sortably — and privacy consent is documented along the way, which is simply impossible in a WhatsApp group.
Can we ask about rehearsal availability?
Yes — a multi-select with your rehearsal slots ("Tuesdays 7.30pm", "Thursdays 8pm", "project phases only") shows you at once who can come when. Especially helpful for project choirs and for deciding whether a second rehearsal slot is worthwhile.
What if someone does not know their voice part?
That is what the "not sure yet" option is for — you settle the voice part at warm-up or a short audition. What matters is keeping the sign-up barrier low: nobody should give up over a technical question.
Does this work for project choirs and concert helpers too?
Yes — duplicate the sign-up form and adapt it: project choir registration with voice part and date block, concert helpers list with task selection (door, cakes, teardown). Three forms are included in the free plan — covering exactly these cases.
Who has access to the member data?
Only those with access to your Questee account — typically the director and the board. Data sits tenant-isolated on German servers, not in private inboxes or on slips in the score folder. Departed members are deleted with one click.
