Does the form conduct the energy audit?
No — you conduct the energy audit as the qualified auditor, including site walk, analysis and report. The form is the pre-capture: it collects the data basis (sites, consumption, plant, documents) in a structured way so proposal and audit build on complete information.
What should the pre-capture cover?
Typically: company and sector data, number and type of sites, energy sources with annual consumption and costs, major consumers (production, compressed air, cooling, lighting, fleet), existing metering and certifications, plus contacts per site. You define the professional structure — the form is just the better vehicle.
Our clients are legally obliged to audit — does the form help with deadlines?
Indirectly but noticeably: larger companies must repeat their energy audits regularly under German law, and data collection is reliably the slowest part of the lead time. Structured pre-capture shortens exactly that phase. Deadline responsibility stays with the company, audit quality with you.
How do we handle multiple sites?

How secure is the company data?
Consumption and site data is competitively sensitive — we treat it accordingly: hosting exclusively in Germany, encrypted transfer, tenant-isolated storage, optional password protection per form. You receive the Art. 28 GDPR DPA for your engagement records.
What is wrong with the trusted Excel template?
Excel works — until the client overwrites formulas, deletes columns or versions 3 and 5 circulate in parallel. The form validates input instantly, enforces required fields, accepts documents directly and gives you a consistent data format across all clients. You can carry over your Excel structure one to one.
Can several people in the company contribute?
The simplest route: the link with draft saving is passed around internally — the energy manager fills their part, the site lead adds theirs.
