Does the form replace my roadmap software?
No — and it is not meant to. Roadmap tools calculate the renovation plan; Questee handles the step before: structured data intake from the owner. You export responses as CSV and transfer key data into your calculation tool instead of retyping clipboard notes.
Which BAFA-relevant data can I collect up front?
Everything the owner can answer without you: owner data, address, year built, living space, heritage status, prior renovations, heating type and age. It does not replace the walkthrough — but you arrive fully briefed and spot knockout criteria before driving out.
Can older owners actually fill this in?
Yes — one question per screen, large type, clear help texts with example photos ("this is what the type plate looks like"). Anyone stuck saves a draft and calls you. Owners of existing buildings tend to fill in diligently — their funding is at stake.
How do I filter out non-eligible enquiries?
With conditional logic: questions on ownership, year built and planned measure come first. A new build or a tenant without authority gets a friendly note instead of an appointment. Your dashboard shows instantly which enquiries are worth the drive.
What happens to the photos owners upload?
Up to 25 MB per file, automatically virus-scanned, stored on servers in Germany. Downloads run via signed tokens — no public link that can leak. You download them in a bundle and file them in your project records.
Is collecting owner data online GDPR-compliant?
Yes — hosted in Germany, DPA on request, no US subprocessor. You can add a privacy consent as mandatory field per form and set retention periods. That puts you on cleaner footing than e-mail attachments and paper notes in the car.
Can I embed the questionnaire on my website?
Yes — embedded directly on your consulting website or as a link in your reply to enquiries. Many consultants also link it straight from their energy-expert directory listing.
