For teachers & school leaders

Class-trip sign-ups without crumpled parent letters

Consent, allergies, emergency contact and payment — one form link via the parent mailing list instead of three weeks chasing paper slips. GDPR-compliant, hosted in Germany.

Start for free

1 Link replaces 28 parent letters, a collection folder and countless reminder slips

Sound familiar from the staff room?

Returns drag on for weeks

You hand out 28 parent letters — twelve come back, three of them crumpled from the bottom of a school bag. You collect the rest one by one at break time and ring around just before the deadline.

Allergies and medication on loose slips

A nut allergy here, asthma inhalers there — the information sits handwritten on different slips. On the trip itself you dig through a folder instead of holding one clean list.

Collecting money is a project of its own

Cash in envelopes, bank transfers without a reference, manual reconciliation: who has paid, who pays in instalments, who has not paid at all? The class-trip bookkeeping eats up your evenings.

Done in three steps with Questee

  1. 1

    Set up the form once

Consent, allergies, medication, emergency contact, swimming permission, payment route — generated by AI in 30 seconds or adapted from a template. Send the link via the parent mailing list or class group.

  2. 2

Parents complete it on their phone

No app download, no account, one question per screen — done in five minutes on the sofa in the evening. For international families the form is available in German and English.

  3. 3

You have everything in one overview

Who has confirmed, who is still missing, which allergies exist, who has paid — one table instead of a collection folder. Export the allergy list for the trip with one click.

Built for pupil data and parents' everyday lives

Hosted in Germany

Minors' data stays GDPR-compliant on German servers — with an Art. 28 DPA, no US cloud.

No app for parents

Tap the link, fill it in in the browser, done — works on any phone without installation or registration.

Payment right inside the form

Optionally collect trip fees online via Stripe — instead of cash envelopes and transfer reconciliation.

Conditional logic

Medication detail questions only appear when parents answer "yes" — everyone else finishes faster.

Multilingual DE/EN

One form, two languages — international parents understand every question without you maintaining two letters.

E-mail notification

You get a message for every new sign-up — no daily checking required.

Questions from school practice

Is this GDPR-compliant for minors' data?
Yes — and for pupil data that is the whole point: Questee hosts exclusively in Germany, transfers encrypted (HTTPS) and provides the Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement. Parents complete the form themselves and thereby consent as legal guardians. No data is transferred to the US cloud.
Why not just Google Forms?
Many schools ban Google Forms for exactly this reason: the data — including children's allergies and emergency contacts — sits with a US provider. Questee stores in Germany, ships the DPA and gives you a clean answer for your head teacher and data protection officer instead of a grey area.
Do parents need to install an app or create an account?
No. Parents receive a link, tap it and complete the form in the browser — on a phone, tablet or laptop. No installation, no registration, no password. That is exactly what lowers the barrier compared with any school app.
How does paying the trip fee work?
You can optionally embed an online payment via Stripe directly in the form — parents pay by card and you see the payment status in your overview. If your school prefers bank transfers, skip the payment step and show the account details as a closing note instead.
Does the form replace the parents' signature?
The form documents consent with name, answer and timestamp — for organisational matters that is sufficient at many schools. Whether a formal handwritten signature is required is your school leadership's call; in that case use the form for data, allergies and payment and only collect the one signature slip on top.
How do I see which parents have not yet responded?
All responses land in one overview with the child's name — you cross-check against the class list in seconds instead of leafing through a folder. You then send a targeted reminder to the missing families via the mailing list.
What about parents who speak little German?
The form is available in German and English — international parents switch the language themselves and understand every consent and allergy question. That is safer than a translated slip nobody explains at home.
