Is the CSV export really DATEV-compatible?
We ship a CSV with column mapping for DATEV master data online (commercial/private, payroll). The file works directly in the DATEV import wizard. For pre-2024 DATEV versions a short column adjustment may be needed — documented in the help centre.
What does the profession say about cloud solutions?
Germany’s Federal Chamber of Tax Advisors updated its data-protection notes on cloud use in 2022: cloud is permitted when the provider proves EU hosting + GDPR compliance (Art. 28 DPA). We provide the DPA on request, host in Germany, and post-Schrems-II have no US subprocessor agreements.
Can the client upload files?
Yes — per question up to 25 MB per file, 100 MB total per response. Allowed types: PDF, JPG, PNG, DOCX, XLSX. ClamAV scans automatically. Downloads run via signed tokens, no direct link leakage.
How long are responses stored?
Default is 10 years (GoBD retention). You can set shorter periods per form if appropriate. A retention policy runs automatically and deletes expired data — with audit trail for inspectors.
Can my client fill in on smartphone?
Yes — one question per screen by default. Clients without tablet/laptop can fill on mobile, including file upload (camera direct from browser).
What does it cost per client?
Nothing per client — pricing is firm-wide. Pro: €9/month (annual). Covers unlimited clients, up to 10,000 responses/month. Comparison: docunest starts at ~€50/month per user.
What if the client misunderstands a question?
Each question has a help-text field (tooltip). You can embed examples or screenshots. With conditional logic the client only sees what is relevant — no confusion from empty fields.
