How do I connect Stripe?
Connect Stripe via Stripe Connect (OAuth). We route payments directly to your Stripe account. Stripe fees (1.5% + €0.25 for EU card) still apply. Questee takes NO additional transaction fee.
Withdrawal notice duty?
On B2C sales: 14-day withdrawal right (statutory). We provide prepared withdrawal text + mandatory checkbox. Not needed for B2B.
Receipt storage?
PDF receipts stored GoBD-compliant for 10 years. You can push them monthly via webhook to your accounting (Lexware, sevDesk, DATEV).
What if customer abandons checkout?
Stripe Checkout session expires after 24h. Configurable abandoned-cart mails (Pro). Order stays "in_progress", no receipt, no payment.
VAT?
Integrate Stripe Tax — automatic VAT per delivery country (EU OSS-compliant). We forward tax data to Stripe. Breakdown on receipt.
Vs WooCommerce/Shopify?
Shopify from €32/month, WooCommerce free but setup + hosting needed. Questee Pro: €9/month. Trade-off: no full shop (no gallery, no search), but at 5-50 products: 80% value with 10% complexity.
