Questions from administrations

Does a Questee form meet OZG requirements?
Questee covers the core: digital application without media discontinuity and structured data handover. Services requiring written form or payment (e.g. via ePayBL) still need the matching process behind them — for the many simple applications without written-form requirements, the form is the fastest route to OZG compliance.
Where is citizen data stored?
Exclusively on servers in Germany. We provide an Art. 28 GDPR data-processing agreement and use no US subprocessors. The solution is therefore usable post-Schrems II without a transfer impact assessment.
Does the citizen need an account or BundID?
No. The citizen opens the link and fills in — no registration, no app. For applications requiring identification, you can request identity proof as a file upload (e.g. ID copy) or combine the process with your existing BundID flow.
How does the data get into the case-management system?
Via CSV or JSON export with fixed columns per form — importable into common case-management systems. Alternatively via real-time webhook to your system if your IT provides an endpoint.
Can several departments work with one account?
Yes — via workspaces. Public order office, citizen office and building authority can use separate areas with their own forms and notification addresses, without seeing each other's applications.
What happens to applications after processing?
You set a retention period per form. After expiry, an automatic retention policy deletes the data — with audit trail. This keeps you safe regarding storage limitation under Art. 5 GDPR.
How fast is a first application online?
