For SaaS partnership teams

Partner applications that ask by partner type

Agency, reseller or tech partner — conditional logic asks each type the right questions. Every application arrives with a complete profile, and you see at a glance which conversation is worth having.

What ails partner pipelines today

Enquiries without a profile

"We'd like to become partners" — that's the whole email. An agency with 50 clients or an individual with an idea? Before any conversation comes research and a follow-up email.

Three partner types, one inbox

An agency needs different questions than a reseller, a tech partner different ones again — but in a freeform inbox everything looks the same. There's no process, only one-offs, each costing the same manual effort.

Good candidates fizzle out

Because screening is tedious, enquiries sit for days. The motivated agency owner writing today has signed with your competitor by next week — partner interest has a short shelf life.

How Questee structures your partner pipeline

  1. 1

    One application, three paths

First question: "Which partner type are you?" From there conditional logic branches — agencies state client base and services, resellers target market and sales experience, tech partners their stack and integration use case.

  2. 2

Applicants go through a professional process

Embedded on your partner page, in your branding, one question per screen. A well-built application process is itself a signal: this programme is serious — attracting serious partners and deterring dead weight.

  3. 3

    You screen profiles, not prose

Every application lands complete in your dashboard and via webhook in your workflow — sortable by type, region, size. Your reply goes out the same day, with a concrete next step instead of a list of follow-up questions.

Questions around partner programmes

What should a partner application ask?
Common core: company, website, region, how the applicant found you. Then type-specific — agencies: client base, service range, why your product fits their portfolio. Resellers: target market, sales channels, prior software experience. Tech partners: their product, the planned integration use case, technical resources. Conditional logic keeps it short for everyone.
Does a form put potential partners off?
The opposite: a structured application process signals your partner programme is real, not just a landing page. Serious agencies and resellers know such processes from other vendors. Anyone deterred by ten targeted questions wouldn't have survived partner onboarding either.
Why not Typeform for partner applications?
Typeform handles branching, but has two catches: your applicants' data sits in the US cloud — awkward if you want to win DACH agencies who promise their clients GDPR compliance. And its pricing tiers by responses, while Questee Pro is €12/month flat, hosted in Germany with a DPA.
How do I manage applications after they arrive?
All applications sit structured in the Questee dashboard, filterable by answers — say, partner type or region. Via webhook you additionally send each application as JSON into your own tooling, e.g. a kanban board or a database. It won't replace a full PRM at scale — but until then you save the subscription.
Is applicant data stored GDPR-compliantly?
Yes — hosting exclusively in Germany, encrypted transfer, tenant-isolated storage and our Art. 28 GDPR DPA. You link your privacy policy right in the form. Especially towards agency partners who are GDPR-sensitive themselves, that's a better calling card than a US form tool.
Can I add new partner types later?
Any time — add an option to the type selector and attach the matching follow-up questions via conditional logic. Existing applications stay untouched, the link stays the same. The process grows with the programme without ever starting over.
Applicants abandon long forms — what helps?
Three levers: conditional logic shows each type only its questions (perceived length halved), save-and-resume lets applicants pause and continue later, and one-per-screen keeps progress visible. Whoever reaches the halfway point tends to finish — the barrier is starting, not length.
