For solar installers

Solar enquiries that arrive with roof data — not as call-back puzzles

Your enquiry form asks for orientation, roof area, shading and power consumption — with photos of roof and meter cabinet. You see before the first call whether the appointment is worth it.

0 € per enquiry — instead of expensive, multiply-sold portal leads

Three reasons your quote rate suffers

Enquiries without substance

"What does a solar system cost?" — without roof orientation, area or consumption you cannot calculate anything. Each of these enquiries costs a call-back, and half have a north-facing roof or no house of their own.

Bought leads, sold five times over

Lead portals charge hefty prices per contact — and sell the same prospect to several companies at once. You chase a price comparison that someone else wins.

Site visits with no prospects

Your planner drives out and discovers on site: shaded roof, 1985 meter cabinet, unrealistic budget. A photo upfront would have saved that hour — skilled-worker time is your scarcest resource.

How Questee pre-qualifies your enquiries

  1. 1

    Set up the pre-qualification form

You ask what your planning genuinely needs: roof shape and orientation, estimated area, shading, year built, annual power consumption, interest in storage or wallbox. With AI generation the draft is ready in 30 seconds.

  2. 2

Prospect completes it — photos included

One question per screen, done on the phone in five minutes. The prospect photographs roof and meter cabinet straight into the form. Conditional logic asks storage details only if there is storage interest.

  3. 3

    You prioritise by substance

Every enquiry lands complete in your inbox: south-facing roof, 60 m², 5,000 kWh consumption? Call immediately. Shaded north roof? Polite decline by email. Your planners only drive to appointments with real prospects.

Built for technical pre-qualification

Photo upload

Roof, meter cabinet, house connection — photos straight in the form instead of WhatsApp images sent later.

Conditional logic

Wallbox questions only with an EV, storage questions only with interest — no prospect wades through irrelevance.

In-form calculations

Show a rough system size from consumption and roof area — the prospect gets an instant reference point.

AI generation in 30 seconds

Describe the form, get a draft, adjust — no agency, no web designer.

Email notification

Every new enquiry instantly in your inbox — in solar, whoever calls back first often wins.

Questions from day-to-day solar sales

What does this give me over bought portal leads?
Three things: exclusivity, quality and cost. Portal leads are often sold to several companies at once — you compete from second one. Enquiries via your own form come from people who found you and talk only to you. And instead of paying per lead, the form costs a small fixed monthly fee — however many enquiries arrive.
Which roof data should I ask for?
Proven set: roof shape (gable/flat/hipped), orientation of the main surface, estimated usable area, visible shading (trees, dormers, neighbouring buildings), roof covering and year built. Plus annual power consumption, planned loads (heat pump, EV) and a photo of the roof and meter cabinet. That lets you roughly size the system before anyone drives out.
Won't a long form scare prospects away?
A well-built form feels short: one question per screen, conditional logic hides what doesn't apply, and everything is done in five minutes. Anyone unwilling to invest those five minutes would not have kept a site appointment either — the form filters out exactly the enquiries that would otherwise have cost you time.
Is prospect data stored GDPR-compliantly?
Yes. Questee hosts exclusively in Germany, transfers are encrypted, and you get the Art. 28 GDPR DPA. Power consumption, address and house photos are personal data — with Questee they sit tenant-isolated on German servers instead of with a US provider or a portal that resells them.
Why not just Google Forms?
Google Forms looks like a foreign object on a trade business website, lacks the branching depth you need for storage/wallbox paths, and stores data with a US corporation — without easy DPA handling. Questee runs in your branding on your website, with photo upload, conditional logic and German hosting.
Can I embed the form in my existing website?
Yes — embedded directly on your page or as a button ("Start solar enquiry") that opens the form. It works with any website builder and any CMS, since only a link or a code snippet is needed.
Does the form replace the site survey?
No — and it is not meant to. A professional survey is still needed before installation. The form ensures your planners only drive where roof, consumption and expectations fundamentally fit. The survey shifts from first contact to the second-to-last step before the order.
