For coaches, trainers & workplace health providers

The stress assessment that scores itself

Scale questions on strain, recovery and warning signs — with an automatically calculated total at the end. As a lead magnet on your website or an entry check for courses and programmes.

Where self-assessment offers fall short

The PDF does not score

Your downloadable stress check expects prospects to add up points themselves and look them up in a table. Most never do — and you never even learn who took the check.

Quiz tools: pricey and US-hosted

Assessment platforms like ScoreApp or Outgrow cost 30-90 dollars a month — and store your audience's strain self-reports in the US cloud. For companies, a deal-breaker.

Courses start without a baseline

Your stress management course starts the same for everyone — although one person begins at strain 9/10 and another at 4/10. Without an entry check you lack the basis for grouping and before-and-after comparison.

How you build your assessment

  1. 1

Set up scale questions plus scoring logic

Ten to twenty scale questions on workload, recovery, sleep, physical warning signs. Questee's calculator feature sums the points automatically and shows the total with your interpretation at the end — no spreadsheet involved.

  2. 2

Participants take the check in five minutes

One question per screen, doable on the phone over lunch. The result appears instantly: a score plus your guidance on what it means and what a next step could be — your discovery call, for instance.

  3. 3

You gain leads and course data

As a lead magnet: whoever wants the result by email leaves their address — qualified contacts with a known strain level. As an entry check: you see where your group stands before the course starts and can show progress at the end.

Questions about the stress assessment

How does the automatic scoring work technically?
Via Questee's calculation feature: you assign point values to answer options and define a formula — say, the sum of all scale values or weighted sub-areas (work, recovery, body). The result is calculated live and shown on the closing page, together with your interpretation text per score band.
Is such an assessment a medical or psychological test?
No — and you should say so clearly. It is a structured self-assessment serving as reflection and conversation starter, not diagnostics and not a validated test instrument. Questee diagnoses nothing. A note like "This assessment does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic evaluation" belongs on every serious results page — you write it right into the form.
How does Questee differ from ScoreApp or Outgrow?
Three points: price (€12/month instead of 30-90 USD), data location (Germany instead of the US cloud — decisive for strain self-reports and corporate clients) and scope (Questee is a full form builder, not a quiz gimmick — the same account also covers your discovery briefing and course feedback).
Does this actually work as a lead magnet?
Assessments convert better than e-book downloads because the result is personal and immediate — people want to know their score. Important: make the email optional or tied to receiving the result, not an entry barrier, and deliver real value in the interpretation plus one clear next step (discovery call, course waiting list).
Can companies use it anonymously for their workforce?
Yes — without mandatory name and email the check is anonymous; evaluation happens at group level. The GDPR argument opens doors here: German hosting and the Art. 28 DPA are often the works council's and DPO's condition. An anonymous strain check does not replace a formal psychosocial risk assessment under German occupational law, though — it can complement it as a low-threshold entry point.
How many questions should the assessment have?
As a lead magnet: ten to fifteen questions, under five minutes — every extra question costs completions. As a course entry check it may be longer (twenty to twenty-five questions) because motivation is higher. Proven structure: three to four topic blocks (workload, recovery and sleep, physical signals, resources) with three to five scale questions each.
Can I compare the check before and after the course?
Yes — send the same assessment at course start and after the final unit. The scores make the group's progress visible: a strong argument for rebookings and, for corporate courses, the proof of impact your client asks for. Exactly this before-and-after number is what most course providers lack.
