Sound familiar from your dance school?

Two records, one paper sheet

Couple sign-ups squeeze two names, two dates of birth and two contacts into a form designed for one person. Half the partner details are missing or illegible.

Retyping after every course launch

After sign-up night, someone sits in the office transferring forty paper sheets into the participant list — deciphering errors included. Time missing from course planning.

The course fee arrives "eventually"

Sign-up at the desk, bank transfer later — or never. Before every course start, the office matches bank statements against sign-up lists and sends payment reminders to couples already on the dance floor.

How couples sign up with you

  1. 1

Build the form with course choice

Course list (ballroom programme, wedding crash course, salsa...), single or couple sign-up, personal details, payment. Conditional logic shows the partner fields only for couples. The AI drafts it in 30 seconds.

  2. 2

The couple completes and pays together

On the sofa in the evening: pick the course, enter both records, pay the fee directly via Stripe — card or Apple Pay. Sign-up and payment are one flow; the spot is binding immediately.

  3. 3

A finished participant list with payment status

Every sign-up appears complete in your overview: course, both partners, paid. Export the course list, plan the start — no retyping, no bank-statement matching.

Everything for a paper-free sign-up night

Partner details via conditional logic

For couple sign-ups the second record opens automatically — solo dancers never see it.

Stripe payment built in

Course fee right at sign-up — binding spots instead of payment reminders.

Course choice as a list

All current courses with dates in the form — remove full ones with a click.

One question per screen, mobile

Sign-up feels light — important when the QR code hangs on the wall at taster night.

E-mail notification

Every sign-up lands in the office inbox instantly — you watch the course fill up live.

Questions from the dance-school office

How does couple sign-up work technically?
An early question asks: "Signing up solo or as a couple?" For "couple", conditional logic reveals the second personal record — partner's name, date of birth, contact. Both records land in one sign-up with one payment, yet stay cleanly separated in your overview.
What happens when a course is full?
You remove the course from the list or rename it "waiting list" — either takes a minute and applies instantly for everyone opening the link. With a waiting-list option you keep collecting interest for the next course instead of losing it to the school next door.
How does payment work — and what about cash payers?
You connect your own Stripe account; the fee is paid as the final sign-up step and flows directly to you. For those preferring cash or bank transfer: make the payment step optional or offer a "pay at the studio" choice — the list still shows who is outstanding.
Why not just keep paper at the front desk?
Paper works — until the retyping, the bank-statement matching and the question whether that mobile number contains a 1 or a 7. Online sign-up delivers complete, legible records with payment status and also works for everyone deciding at home after taster night. The front desk stays for the personal touch — not for forms.
Is participant data stored GDPR-compliantly?
Yes — hosting exclusively in Germany, encrypted transfer, tenant-isolated database and an Art. 28 GDPR DPA. Card data runs directly through Stripe and never touches you or Questee. After the course you can delete records selectively — that is part of GDPR too.
Does this work for wedding crash courses and workshops too?
Especially well — wedding couples are the natural couple sign-up with willingness to pay and a deadline. Create one form per format or combine everything in a single course choice. Pro gives you unlimited forms; the free plan includes three.
How does the form reach prospective dancers?
Link on the website behind the "sign up now" button, QR code on flyers, in the window and on the wall at taster night, link in the Insta bio and Google profile. Since the form takes minutes on a phone, many sign up in the moment of enthusiasm — not "once we get round to it".
