For SaaS marketing & customer success

Webinar registrations without the webinar-tool subscription

Registration, advance question capture and confirmation email through one form — the webhook hands every registration to your calendar and email workflow. The webinar itself runs where it always ran.

Build your registration form

Why webinar registrations cost too much today

Three figures a month for a form

The webinar platform is mostly used for one thing: the registration page and the attendee list. The video has long run through your existing meeting tool — yet you pay for the full platform bundle, every month.

Questions arrive live — or never

What attendees actually want to know, you learn in the last five minutes of Q&A. Without advance questions the speaker prepares past the audience, and the most interesting topics go unanswered.

Registration data in a third-party silo

Who registered, with which role and interest, sits in the webinar tool — separate from your marketing stack. For follow-ups you export CSVs by hand, and with US platforms your data-protection officer eventually comes knocking.

How Questee takes over registration handling

  1. 1

Set up registration with advance questions

Built in minutes: name, email, role, and then the gold part — "Which question should the webinar answer for you?" plus topic interest as a selection. Conditional logic asks customers different things than prospects.

  2. 2

Attendees register and get their confirmation

Embedded on your landing page or as a standalone link, one question per screen, done on a phone in a minute. After submitting: a confirmation page plus email confirmation — the registration feels binding.

  3. 3

    The webhook feeds your workflow

Every registration goes as JSON to your tooling: generate the calendar invite, add the attendee to your mailing list, start the reminder sequence in your email tool. The advance questions land collected with the speaker — the webinar hits what the audience asks.

Questions about the webinar setup

Does Questee send automatic reminder emails before the webinar?
No — and we'd rather say so clearly: Questee sends the confirmation email after registration, but no time-based reminder sequence. That's what the webhook is for: every registration lands instantly in your email tool, which sends the reminders ("starts tomorrow", "starting in an hour") by your rules. An honest workflow instead of a half black box.
How does the webinar link reach attendees?
Two routes: write the join link directly into the post-registration confirmation — or, more cleanly, send it via your webhook workflow as a calendar invite. The calendar route has the advantage that the webinar sits in attendees' calendars, which does more for show-up rates than any reminder email.
Does this fully replace a webinar platform?
No — the webinar itself (video, screen sharing, live chat) keeps running on your meeting or streaming tool. Questee replaces the part many actually pay the expensive platform for: registration page, attendee capture, advance questions and the data hub via webhook. If you already have your video tool, that's usually all that's missing.
Why capture questions in advance?
Because they improve the webinar before it happens: the speaker sees in advance which topics burn and structures the content accordingly. Frequent advance questions are also more honest topic feedback than any survey — and unanswered ones are ready-made material for the follow-up email and the next session.
What about GDPR for attendee data?
Attendee data is transferred encrypted and stored tenant-isolated on German servers; Questee provides the Art. 28 GDPR DPA. Important for marketing: capture newsletter consent as a separate, optional checkbox — webinar registration and marketing consent are legally two different things. The form keeps that separation clean.
Why not leave registration in the webinar tool or Typeform?
The webinar tool couples registration to its subscription and data silo; Typeform solves the form but stores in the US cloud and gets expensive at registration volume. Questee is €12/month flat, hosts in Germany, runs in your branding on your page — and the webhook makes the data instantly usable in your stack instead of foreign exports.
Can I reuse the flow for a webinar series?
Yes — either one form per date (cleanest analytics) or one form with a date selector as a question. Duplicate an existing form and adjust only title and date — the next registration flow is ready in two minutes. With Pro, forms are unlimited.
